Open from Nov. 30 until Dec. 23, 2012 (every Friday , Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 18.00 , other days by appointment) the Seguso Xmas Xperience is an extraordinary sensory journey into the furnace of the oldest families of Murano – active since 1397 – remarkable protagonists in the history of glass. It will also be the occasion for special Christmas shopping in the furnace: vases, cups, bowls , sculptures and lamps in Murano glass.

Christmas is a unique moment in which we all are back to chilhood, a moment of pure thought, of magical and spontaneous amazement. Dreaming is a little luxury, a chance to dive wholeheartedly into a fantasy world. There are many ways to live Christmas, to immerse themselves in the dream, to grasp the silent flow of positive energy that this time of the year brings.
At Seguso, we created the Seguso Xmas Xperience because we want to excite young and old, to return to childhood, to experience the thrill of entering an authentic furnace, full of magic as if it was the factory of Santa Claus at the North Pole, committed to creating all the gifts for Christmas Eve. Seguso Xmas Xperience is a little journey through time, a multi-sensory journey that wants to convey the purity of this job done by skilled hands, of ancient gestures, of murmurs that give life to matter and transforming fire, water and sand in a dream. It is our small contribution to the imagination and joy, it is our way to tell you that Santa Claus exists in small and big emotions that we live every day and we do find that the world is full of beauty. Just stop and contemplate.
